Who can register a program event?

The Nordic Women’s Movement invites you to a huge conference on gender equality and women’s rights. Be one of 15 000 participants from the Women’s Movement, civil society organisations, universities and colleges, government authorities, municipalities, county councils, political parties and other actors who will gather in Malmö on 12 to 15 June 2014 to set the agenda for the future.

To enable broad participation of civil society organizations working on gender equality and women’s rights, we have created a special section of the open program where smaller conference rooms are offered at a reduced rate for this group of organizers. All of the program events at Nordiskt Forum are based on 12 themes. As program event organiser, you own your event and determine its direction and content based on these themes. In addition to a large number of participants, we offer spaces of different sizes at the modern Malmömässan.

Price and conditions

A program event lasts 90 minutes. In addition, 15 minutes are allocated for entry and exit at the beginning and at the end of each program event. If you would like less time for your program event, you are welcome to share your 90-minute slot with another organiser. Please note that the length of the text for the title and event description for the printed program is the same and is shared by the co-organisers.

Included in the price for program event:

➜ a theatre-style conference room for 50-200 people

➜ conference room equipment (microphones, projector, screen, laptop)

➜ 2 conference tickets (in combination package program & stand includes a total of four conference tickets)

➜ 1 room host

➜ information about your program event on the website and in the program magazine

 

The price for booking a stand includes:

➜ a stand at MalmöMässan about 1.5 × 2 meters incl. carpet, lockable counter and chair
➜ a spotlight
➜ a sign with the name of the organization
➜ 2 conference tickets

In the event that Nordiskt Forum receives several identical or similar event proposals, we reserve the right to suggest collaboration or to reject proposals. The same applies to program proposals that are not clearly linked to the 12 themes of the conference or that counteract the goals and objectives of the conference. We assume that you, as the organiser, support the principle of human rights and that your program content is not contrary to this or could otherwise be perceived as discriminatory.

 

Travel, lodging and other expenses are not included in the price but must be paid for by the organiser. Please note that bookings that are cancelled before 31 December 2013 will be refunded by 50%. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. Payment will be made on invoice upon confirmation of your program event.
